When playing as a job, you will have access to actions of the main base class as well as new, job-specific actions. Job-specific actions are acquired by completing job quests. In addition, you'll have access to certain skills from the sub-class of that job. For example, if you're a Monk, you'll have access to abilities from the Pugilist, Marauder and Lancer classes.
